The airline has unveiled a boosted schedule to Asia this coming winter, giving customers greater access to their favourite winter sun destinations
This winter, the Nordic airline will increase its Helsinki to Phuket route to daily, up from four times per week last winter, as it reinforces its presence in Thailand and existing double-daily Bangkok service. The increased service will offer customers seamless access to the winter sun hotspot.
Services between Helsinki and Phuket will restart for the winter season on November 2nd, 2024, initially operating once per week before increasing to five times per week in December and then to daily from January 2025.
As part of the expansion, the airline will also now offer daily direct flights to Dubai, giving greater access to the Middle East and beyond. The new flights, operated by the carrier's long-haul Airbus fleet, have increased from the thrice-weekly frequencies available last winter.
Prices lead in from around £776 for a return ticket in Economy from London to Phuket, while flights to Dubai lead in from approximately £493 return in Economy.
The increased services join Finnair’s existing flights to Asia, including services to Bangkok, Delhi, Doha, Hong Kong, Nagoya, Osaka, Tokyo-Haneda, Tokyo-Narita, Seoul, Shanghai and Singapore.
