EVA Air is bringing art to the skies with its new inflight safety video.
The informative five-minute video aims to captivate its passengers with a blend of modern dance, 3D projection and motion-capture technology.
Director Robin Lee described her vision for the video as a transition in space from the confined aircraft cabin to the globe and its vast possibilities.
The video?s 3D projection, motion-capture technology and choreographed movements create a world of virtual reality in real-time for the dancers? interactions with projected animations. Waves of floating particles represent mobile phone signals and other intangible elements while dancers? graceful movements remind passengers to stow luggage and fasten seat belts.
The video will be played on flights operated by the airline worldwide and on international flights operated by its regional affiliate, UNI Air.
