Club Med gears up for Gulf State debut

The upcoming Club Med Musandam will mark the luxury brand's debut in the Gulf States, almost 75 years after the brand was first founded.

A partnership between Club Med, Royal Court Affairs and the Omran Group, the all-inclusive resort will embody Oman traditions and its surrounding wonders while retaining Club Med's commitment to local development.

Henri Giscard d'Estaing, Club Med's president, described the project as "a key milestone," in the brand's history; H.E. Mr. Salim bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism of Oman, described it as "an important step that is in line with the objective of Omran vision 2040 aiming at bringing 11 million tourists in Oman to boost the inflow of international tourists to the Sultanate."

A sustainable centre

The resort will undoubtedly continue Club Med's vow to eco-certify the construction process of all new resorts with BREEAM (a recognised eco-certifier) or the local equivalent, with the brand confirming that it will adhere to Green Globe standards as with all other Club Med resorts across the globe.

Guests will be welcomed by 300 rooms under Club Med's most exclusive product line: the Exclusive Collection, with interiors inspired by Oman for an authentically luxurious experience.

Club Med Musandam will join 20 other properties in the Exclusive Collection.
