Classic Collection Holidays launches live African safaris for agents

Classic Collection Holidays is giving agents the chance to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Kruger National Park, South Africa and the Maasai Mara, Kenya with two interactive live safaris.

The safaris will be broadcast via Classic Collection Holidays? Facebook Live from South Africa on March 17, Wednesday, at 14:30, and from Kenya?s Maasai Mara on March 18, Thursday at 14:00.

The events include a guided game drive with a ranger, followed by a live Questions and Answers session. Agents attending the event via the operator?s Agent Facebook page will visit a Big Five reserve with a chance of spotting iconic species such as lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino.

Jordan Torrilla, Classic Collection?s product and purchasing manager for Africa and Asia, commented, ?As South Africa moves from summer to autumn agents will get to see the vegetation of the Kruger Park at its greenest with rivers in full flow and wildlife at its healthiest. Migratory bird species should still be around, and there?s a chance that big cats will be enjoying the slightly cooler autumn temperatures out of the shade. It?s also the time of year when spotted hyenas are rearing their young. Kenya is approaching the long rains, but the game viewing should still be good. As with all safaris we can?t guarantee what we?ll spot, but agents will get the chance to experience some of the excitement and anticipation that a safari delivers.?

Si Morris-Green, director of sales and marketing for Classic Collection said, ?We?re thrilled to be able to take our agent partners on safari at a time when many of their customers are planning to return to travel. It?s great for agents to pick up first-hand knowledge of these high value holidays via the authentic experience of a game drive, in real time, from two of the world?s most famous game reserves.?
