Carnival Cruise Line unveils private Grand Bahama destination experiences

Celebration Key, opening in July 2025, will host 18 Carnival ships sailing over 500 cruise itineraries, and a number of guest experiences across five distinct areas.

The Welcome Portal will greet guests on arrival, with live music; a giant sandcastle; and a wealth of information about what's on offer from the private Grand Bahama destination.

The Family-Friendly Portal, as the name suggests, hosts facilities for all ages, including a large freshwater lagoon; splash pad; racing water slides; sports courts; a beach with cabanas; floating cabanas; and villas with personal slides.

The Adult-Friendly Portal brings the age-suitability up a notch, with swim-up bar and cabana rentals; full-service restaurants; and villas.

The Private Club Portal is a more premium adult-only option, with an infinity pool and loungers and elevated dining options.

The Retail Portal will host local Bahamian artisans selling goods and duty-free outlets.

Christine Duffy, Carnival Cruise Line's president, said: "We are designing Celebration Key with endless ways for our guests to unlock their own kind of fun, in this incredible paradise that also celebrates the beauty of Grand Bahama. Celebration Key is uniquely positioned to bring an island experience to our guests, in a way that lets them choose their own slice of paradise."

20 trade places are up for grabs with an incentive scheme inviting agents to the island when booking this year, with points accrued on sailings confirmed by November 1st, 2024. Find out more here.
