Caribbean Tourism Organisation to host virtual agent events

The virtual events will launch next month with a Luxury Romance virtual roadshow.

The Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO) Chapter, UK and Europe, has announced a packed schedule of roadshows, events and marketing activities for 2021, targeted to help agents with specialised training sessions that expand knowledge of the destination and boost sales.

The first event is a Luxury Romance roadshow for UK agents on February 9, 2021 - one of CTO's staple events, regularly attracting over 100 agents throughout last year. On February 13, the CTO will launch a first-of-its-kind virtual consumer event, just in time for Valentine's Day.

Business development director, CTO Chapter UK and Europe, commented: ?Agents have fed back to us that they really value these specialised training sessions.  They sign up to those that are relevant to their business interests and learn a huge amount in a couple of hours, at no cost. There?s no doubt that virtual training in this way is here to stay. We are launching a new consumer show in order for the general public to have direct contact with those who can inspire and sell holidays to the Caribbean. There?s no better way for people who are looking to travel than talking to those who have extensive knowledge of the destination.  This is what we will be providing, alongside some fun competitions and offers. Again, the theme will be Romance, there?s going to be a flood of weddings, honeymoons and proposals in 2021, and nowhere does it better than the Caribbean.?
