Head of trade Gabo Quiros celebrated "the biggest trade sales ever" in Q1 as he unveiled Inside Travel's new-look agent team
The team, headed up by senior team leader Claire Brothers, is comprised of nine Inside staff, all of whom have worked for the group for at least two years. Between them, there is over 35 years' combined experience living in Japan.
Continuing, Gabo iterated, "Our trade partners are huge for us and together with the incredible popularity of Japan right now, we want to make it easier for our agents to make those sales.
“By providing a single point of contact, we won’t be passing agents around, which will allow the expert and agent to build a bond and ensure a more efficient sale and all-round better experience."
Claire Brothers has worked for Inside Travel for over 11 years. "Japan is so popular at the moment, but we are always able to make time for our agent friends and thankfully, happy customers ensure that our agent partners are already coming back.
"Last week’s Heathrow crisis also allowed us to show our value as a single point of contact, helping agents and their customers at a time when they might feel slightly helpless."
Inside Travel's record trade sales in Q1 have been supported with a new agent platform, Insider Agent, a £25,000 launch incentive, and price cuts across off-peak Japan departures.
