The Bangkok-Samui flight services will operate twice daily from today, with enhanced precautions and social distancing practices, in compliance with guidelines from the Ministry of Public Health and the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand.
All passengers were given special boutique-designed face masks for today?s first flight.
The precautionary measures and adjusted service provisions at Bangkok Airways have been in line with protocols set by the airport authorities, at arrival and departure airports. The measures include: body temperature screening, compulsory masks for all travellers and cabin crew, seat allocations with ample distance in the flight, and floor markings to indicate appropriate distance at all service areas and transfer buses.
Inflight meal service has been suspended and consumption of personal food and drink is not allowed onboard. Cabin attendants are required to wear gloves at all times during flight.
Health and safety of the passengers and staff is the airline?s top priority. Bangkok Airways will continue to implement precautionary measures to help contain the spread of the virus.
