30,000 seats are on sale from Glasgow to Cork, with Aer Lingus confirming four weekly departures from October 27th, 2024
The new Cork service joins the up-to-four-daily Dublin service and up-to-twice-daily Belfast service from Glasgow.
Ian Lough, head of commercial, said the service reflects the airline’s "ongoing commitment to providing our customers with a wider array of travel options and enhanced convenience.
"With over 30,000 seats available, we are confident this service will be a great success, benefiting both leisure and business travellers. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Aer Lingus Regional and Emerald Airlines, supporting the growth of our network and delivering exceptional service to our customers."
Chris Tibbett, aero director at AGS Airports, added: “We are thrilled to welcome the new Aer Lingus Regional service from Glasgow to Cork, further strengthening our connectivity with Ireland. This new route not only enhances travel options for our passengers but also underscores our ongoing commitment to providing diverse and convenient destinations."
