As easter approaches, the Advantage Travel Partnership has unveiled promising insights into booking habits. Demand overall is up 15% for the Easter period against 2024, with the family market up 4%
Tenerife, Antalya and the Costa Blanca lead the winter sun rankings, with Mexico and New York topping the long-haul demand league.
Kelly Cookes, the Advantage Travel Partnership’s chief commercial officer, unpacked the data.
“It's unsurprising that destinations such as Tenerife, Lanzarote and the Costa Blanca continue to be popular... they can be reliably sunny and good value for travellers.”
The Partnership also suggested that family bookings show the same slowness as in 2024; families are more committed to getting a better deal by choosing to travel outside of the summer period.
Continuing, Kelly predicted, “We anticipate that the popularity of shows like White Lotus set in Thailand and Love Island All Stars filmed in South Africa will further fuel interest in these destinations... [and] we can expect to see cruise grow in popularity.”
