ACCOR to launch new properties in Europe this year

ACCOR will be launching some new properties, as well as reopening some renovated properties across various European destinations this year.

Some of the openings and relaunches include:

Swiss?tel Kursaal Bern, Switzerland ? January 2021

Located in the heart of Bern, the flagship hotel Swiss?tel Kursaal Bern offers panoramic views of the Alps and the historic old town, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has 171 renovated rooms with natural, sustainable and well-crafted materials and Vitality Suites that offer a holistic approach and feature a well-being wall for mental and physical well-being, customised furniture, and a freestanding bathtub. Swiss?tel Kursaal Bern also offers numerous sports and fitness options - from Vitality Fitness sets in the rooms to the 150-square-meter gym, which is open round-the-clock, with free weights, the latest equipment, and a personal trainer on request. The Mediterranean Giardino restaurant and Y? with its Asian cuisine complete the hotel experience.

Merici Hotel Sittard, MGallery, Netherlands ? April 2021

The property is set in a former Ursuline convent, in the historic city centre of Sittard. The name Merici originates from Angela de Merici, founder of the Ursuline Order. The convent order provided education for girls between 1843 and 1946 in the hotel's adjoining buildings, which are now listed as a historical monument. The 82-bedroom hotel features a bar, fine dining restaurant as well as an all-day-dining space, with a terrace  and views of the surrounding secret gardens of Sittard.

The Emporium Plovdiv MGallery, Bulagria ? summer 2021

The MGallery in Plovdiv will offer 61 rooms, a spa and wellness area and meeting facilities. The hotel is currently under construction basing on an existing building where the Torro Grande, one of the city?s most popular restaurants already operates. The redesign will turn the building into a high-end stylish and comfortable hotel, with subtle antique references designed to shape a meeting place inspired by the ancient Roman Empire. Plovdiv is one of the most dynamic economic hubs in Bulgaria and a vibrant leisure destination. 

Pullman Tbilisi, Georgia ? summer 2021

Opening in the historic capital of Georgia, Pullman Tbilisi Tower will feature 226 bedrooms and suites. The all-day dining restaurant and the Sky Bar, are situated on the 36th and 37th floors of the Tower. For lifestyle and  wellness, the hotel will also create a spa, fitness and all-weather swimming pool with a retractable roof.

JO&JOE Vienna Westbahnhof, Austria ? summer 2021

A much anticipated JO&JOE Open House will open on the two upper floors of the future IKEA furnishing store at  Westbahnhof in Vienna. Both brands, IKEA and JO&JOE, share a common passion for design, innovation and  sustainability. The new JO&JOE will feature the "Together"  rooms that resemble dormitories and offer  space for several people or travel groups. Alternatively, there is a provision of the "Yours", rooms which is suitable for two to three people, and comes with a private bathroom.
