A trio of trade team upgrades from Riviera Travel as agents remain 'key focus'
Three of the operator's trade team will see their roles expanded from December, including Tom Morgan, who is going global as head of international sales.
Heading up the team as trading director is Stu Milan, who will oversee the trade, international and group functions along with taking on the overall responsibility for agent activity and revenue management.
Tom Morgan will now manage overseas activity, including the newly-relaunched Irish market, along with the UK, Australia and USA (the latter two remaining trade-only under Tom's management).
Vicky Billing has earned the mantle of head of trade and partnerships for the UK and Ireland, responsible for trade business on Riviera's home shores and expanding the trade team with a key account manager currently being recruited.
The trio of promotions and ongoing recruitment plans will lead the operator to a 15-strong trade team in 2024, doubling down on the success that has seen trade activity grow 110% year-on-year.
Phil Hullah, Riviera Travel CEO, said: "These are very exciting times for our trade team as we further enhance our strategy and activity across the UK, Ireland and overseas. With Stu, Tom and Vicky in place in their expanded roles, we have every confidence we will meet and exceed our agent-friendly growth plans.
"The trade remains a key focus and we look forward to our agent business further going from strength to strength under their direction."
