Direct flights will operate four times weekly from Manchester to Stuttgart, with services taking flight from May 2024.
Manchester Airport is doubling down on its status as the most diverse route network of any UK airport outside of the capital with the new service. A slate of around 200 destinations from over 50 airlines will take flight in 2024: the additional Eurowings service means an eighth city service direct from Manchester.
Chris Woodroofe, managing director at Manchester Airport, said: "We are thrilled to be adding another new destination to what is already the most extensive route network of any UK airport outside London, giving our passengers even more choice when planning their next trip.
"Our data shows that Stuttgart is one of the most in-demand destinations that is not already served, so it’s fantastic news that Eurowings will step in and meet that demand."
Fares start from £39.99 per person each way.
