On the back of launching its peaks campaign, 'Live Your Travel Story', on Boxing Day, Newmarket Holidays has reported a 30% sales spike for its long-haul tours
Four tours to India have cracked the top 10 over recent weeks, driving the lion's share of the growth.
Japan, after returning to the Newmarket roster in 2023, maintains its place as the most popular long-haul destination. Japan Unveiled is the most-booked tour of 2025 so far.
Uzbekistan makes a curveball entry to sixth place, with a natural exploration of Costa Rica third.
Hayley Morris, head of trade and partnerships, noted that "agents are perfectly placed to convert this attention [from the campaign] into sales by giving people the confidence to book destinations that are outside of their usual comfort zone.
"Our trade team is supporting agents with easy access to marketing assets and extra training on key products to provide deeper insights into long haul destinations and itineraries, and our peaks campaign is backed by discounts of up to 15% and our biggest-ever TV campaign, which is bringing a new audience to escorted tours. We're delighted with the results so far."
Earlier this month, Hayley unveiled a "great opportunity for agents" in the form of the operator's Escorted Tours Collection 2025-27.
