Sustainable fine dining in Botswana

Opening in the latter half of 2020, Wilderness Safari?s third-generation Duma Tau, which is undergoing renovations, will offer an enhanced menu that blends elements of Botswanas heritage, community and nutrition with an eclectic ambience.

Situated in the 125,000-hectare Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, DumaTau is in the heart of one of the best game-viewing areas in northern Botswana, the ideal location for dining outdoors.

The camp has increased access to locally grown superfoods, such as baobab fruit powder, Kalahari truffle, marula, ground nuts and moringa, which will be used for making hot porridge, nutritional smoothies and muffins. The chefs will also use millet and sorghum to create a range of delicious homemade pastas and artisanal breads.

Whether it is about enjoying culturally inspired meals during boma evenings, eating out on a barge on the Linyanti River, or taking advantage of the African sky with a romantic candlelight dinner, DumaTau?s new menu will be focused on bringing people together in the reserve?s exquisite surroundings.
