Advantage Update's Wellness Wednesday

 

Advantage Update goes live with updates for viewers with various information regarding health and wellness especially during this time of difficulty on its YouTube channel. 

Wellness Wednesday is a part of it and this Wednesday, on May 6, Yasmina Cherquaoui, yoga and meditation teacher and PR consultant took the Advantage members on a ten minute guided meditation session. 

 

She elaborated on how much a relaxed mind is important for all and especially when everyone is facing a difficult time. She shared some of the relaxing and breathing techniques, sitting positions that can be done at home at any time as per the person?s preference to relax body and mind.

She said: "We are moving too fast, if we slow down the breath, we can start activating the sympathetic nervous system which allows the human body to relax and restore energy. With mind getting relaxed, the muscles will follow and start relaxing and the whole body will be relaxed. It is a way of recharging the body."
