Ethiopian Airlines adjusts UK flight schedules

Ethiopian Airlines has made temporary adjustments to its schedule for UK operations.

From today, for a period of four weeks, the airline has suspended the four-times-a-week Manchester operation and reduced its Heathrow flights from every day to three times a week, flying on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday only.

The Heathrow flights will allow for transiting passengers from the UK and Africa to be repatriated as well as allowing for the delivery of urgent cargo supplies.

Michael Yohannes, the airline's country manager for the UK commented: ?I would like to thank our passengers for their patience during these tough unprecedented times and look forward to welcoming them back on-board in the future. I would also like to thank all Ethiopian staff across the network and particularly in the UK who over the past few weeks have risen to the challenges and been amazing in helping us sustain and operate our scheduled operation as planned.?
