Cosmos Holidays recently conducted a survey of more than 2,000 UK adults to reveal the elements that contribute to the nation?s ?ideal? holiday.
Unsurprisingly, the majority like to escape to sunnier climes, with 76% of Brits voting for beach breaks.
The survey also revealed the ideal length of a flight to their holiday destination of choice, with 68% of respondents having a preference for a three- to four-hour flight.
Following the results of the survey, the operator is highlighting a choice of 21 Greek destinations for summer with flights from Birmingham, Luton, Gatwick and Manchester.
As examples, a seven-night, self-catering stay at Katelios Studios in Kefalonia, departing from Manchester on May 16, leads in at ?179 per person, based on two adults sharing a studio.
Alternatively, a seven-night, half-board stay at Apostolata Resort in Kefalonia's Skala, departing from Gatwick on May 16, costs ?345 based on two sharing a twin room.
