Wizz Air launches UK first with direct Armenia route

Wizz Air has launched the UK’s only direct route to Armenia, connecting London Luton Airport with Yerevan with twice-weekly flights starting from £45.99

The new low-cost service provides British travellers with direct access to the Caucasus region, operating on Mondays and Fridays throughout the year.

The launch follows Wizz Air's recent 'Let's Get Lost' campaign, where a group of mystery getaway winners discovered Yerevan as their final destination.

Yvonne Moynihan, managing director of Wizz Air UK, said, "Today marks an exciting moment for Wizz Air as we launch the UK’s only direct route to Armenia, opening up a destination that remains largely undiscovered by British travellers."

"The response to our 'Let's Get Lost' campaign showed there is real appetite among travellers to step outside their comfort zones and discover destinations they may never have previously considered. We’re proud to be making Armenia more accessible than ever before and can’t wait to welcome more passengers on board as they experience everything this remarkable country has to offer.”

Tickets for flights between Luton Airport and Yerevan are available now through the website and the app.
