VIVA Cruises has announced its river cruise programme for 2028
The programme features 332 departures running from January to December, and is available to book from October 15th, 2026.
It covers seven major European rivers, including the Rhine, Douro, Danube, and Dutch Waterways.
Alongside this, it features four new itineraries, such as the two-week long ‘Grand European Journey to Budapest’ on VIVA ENJOY, journeying from Amsterdam through Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary, the seven-night ‘Meuse Moments in the Netherlands’ aboard VIVA TIARA, ‘Enchantment on the Ijsselmeer’ on VIVA ONE, a week-long roundtrip from Düsseldorf, departing in June, July, and August.
‘Wine Journey Between Basel & Nancy’ also makes its debut, a ten-night trip departing October 5th from Basel, calling at Breisach, Strasbourg, Speyer, Bingen, Koblenz, Cochem, Bernkastel, Trier, Metz and Nancy.
The 2028 season will also feature themed options covering wellness, jazz, culinary, and wine itineraries.

VIVA Cruises’ all-inclusive experience includes all meals, flexible dining, and a selection of drinks. Alongside this, guests are offered complimentary High Tea once per voyage, a daily replenished minibar and Nespresso coffee machine in their cabin, a welcome bottle of prosecco, Rituals toiletries, as well as Wi-Fi and gratuities.
