Visit Jersey launch campaign designed to lift spirits

Visit Jersey has launched a new video, designed to lift spirits and remind people that Jersey will be waiting for them when it is safe to travel again.

Jersey, the UK and much of Europe is in lockdown. This is an unprecedented crisis for global tourism, particularly in retaining staff and generating cash in the face of little or no demand for travel.  

Visit Jersey?s marketing has been focused on staying safe and taking care of one another. This week, Visit Jersey moves towards lifting spirits and showcasing Jersey while recognising the world of Covid-19 lockdown. The team is also working on the next phases to create engagement and inspire greater confidence in a trip to Jersey, supporting the trade where possible. 

They will increasingly look to use their marketing knowledge and skills, with their agencies and partners, to pave the way for the future, once the pandemic has ended.  

While visitors can?t physically come to Jersey now, Visit Jersey is encouraging explorations of Jersey from home by sharing ideas about how people can enjoy some of the wonders of the Channel island from the comfort of their own home. https://www.jersey.com/enjoy-jersey-home
