Valamar has announced the launch of Pical Resort alongside major renovations across its other hotels and resorts
Pical Resort, Valamar Collection will open in March 2026 in Porec, Croatia. Pical brings premium accommodation, destination-led dining, wellness and active experience just minutes from Porec’s UNESCO-listed old town. Pical’s is Valamar’s largest investment to date and is set to play a key role in reinforcing Porec’s position as an any-season destination.
The resort will also host one of the most modern congress and event centres in Istria, to support business travel and MICE demands.
Valamar is also reinvesting in other properties in their portfolio, as they desire to meet evolving guest expectations and support the UK trade demand. Sunny Porec by Valamar is receiving a large renovation, with 334 fully renovated rooms and suites, alongside a new a la carte restaurant, a premium family water park with five pools and slides, and expanded family facilities.
Additional upgrades for 2026 also include a fully renovated wellness area at the Valamar Meteor Hotel, as well as modernised beach bar and lifestyle enhancements at the PLACES Dalmacija by Valamar, further strengthening Valamar’s offerings in southern Dalmatia.
