Up Norway has launched a transformative seven-day women-only winter retreat, focusing on outdoor skills and personal empowerment under the guidance of the first Norwegian woman to summit Mount Everest
The Arctic Women: Braver by Nature programme runs from March 8th-14th, 2027, intentionally commencing on International Women’s Day. Strictly limited to 12 guests, the itinerary features expert-led training in the Norwegian ‘friluftsliv’ philosophy, including fire-building, fishing, and cold plunging. Prices lead in from £4,550 per person based on double occupancy, encompassing curated accommodation, guided activities, select meals, and local transfers from Oslo to Bodø.
Hosted by outdoor expert Randi Skaug at her Naustholmen island outpost in the Steigen archipelago, the experience allows guests to nurture team spirit and forge unique bonds amidst the bracing weather of the Arctic North.
Clients will also enjoy an intention-setting campfire session, a private guided tour of Oslo's Rose Castle, and restorative sauna nights under the Northern Lights.
