Travelsphere has added new departures to its ‘Royal Geographical Society (RGS) Collection’ for 2027
The additional tours comprise a new itinerary in Iceland, and the existing ‘Treasures of Egypt’ tour, which has been enhanced and added to the programme.
The nine-day ‘Iceland Explorer’, starts in Reykjavík, and includes a guided tour of the Icelandic capital, the Goðafoss waterfall, the Dimmuborgir lava fields, and a cruise on the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.
This tour is set to depart on October 16th, 2027, with prices leading in at £4,349 per person.
Meanwhile, ‘Treasures of Egypt – Pyramids and a Nile Cruise’ is an eight-day trip starting in Cairo and visits the Pyramids of Giza, Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Aswan, and features a Nile cruise. Prices for the trip, departing February 1st, 2027, start at £3,209 per person.
The ‘RGS Collection’ now consists of 15 itineraries, featuring expert-led insights and an exclusive RGS tour booklet offering destination content.
Kathy Farahat, product and operations director at Travelsphere, said, “These itineraries combine fascinating destinations with the chance to learn more from experts and get a deeper sense of the places guests are visiting.
“Iceland is a wonderful addition, with its dramatic landscapes and waterfalls to glaciers and volcanic sites, while Egypt offers a mix of ancient history, iconic sights and life along the Nile.”
All tours in the collection include return flights, overseas transfers, accommodation, select meals, a holiday director, and specialist local guides.
