Travel 2 sees rise in touring and adventure holidays

Travel 2 has witnessed strong growth in booking numbers with demand for touring holidays seeing a marked increase in the first half of 2019.

Responding to the demand, the operator has announced the launch of its new Incredible Journeys 2019/20 touring brochure. Also, ATAS membership has expanded the operator's presence in the market, enabling agents to stay up to date with all the new products on offer.

Kerry Gallagher, marketing director of Gold Medal and Travel 2, said: ?Consumers are increasingly more focused on adventure and seeing the world, and this has been reflected in the growth in demand and booking numbers for touring and adventure holidays.

?The aim of the new brochure is to make sure agents feel supported when responding to this new customer demand, so they have a solid understanding and all the information they need is in one accessible place.?

The 2019/20 Incredible Journeys brochure has a new look from last year, as well as 57 new tours, bringing the total number of tours up to 164 across 60 countries. It reflects the trends in touring bookings. Canada is up 103% compared to last year, coinciding with the new 14-day Tracks Across Canada with VIA Rail tour and the 10-day An Alaskan Odyssey with All Alaska tour.
