The guided operator is continuing its river cruise breakthrough, announced in May of this year, with a pair of Christmas Market itineraries on the Danube and Rhine departing next year

Sailings on the Danube will comprise an eight-day route aboard Trafalgar Reverie from Budapest to Passau, where guests will explore the seasonal markets in Budapest, Bratislava, Linz and Passau. Along with the festive folly, the 128 passengers on board will enjoy a Be My Guest experience at DOCK7, a microbrewery in Bratislava, take a Taste of Christmas walking tour of Vienna, and follow in the footsteps of the Sound of Music on an optional walking tour of Salzburg.
Danube departures are scheduled throughout November and December 2026 and lead in from £2,669 per person.
Trafalgar Verity will set course for the Rhine in November and December 2026, operating eight-day journeys from Basel to Düsseldorf and calling in Strasbourg, Heidelberg, Cologne and Rüdesheim en route. Trafalgar's signature MAKE TRAVEL MATTER experience promises a unique look into artisanal vinegar making and sustainable farming at Weinessiggut Doktorenhof.
