The advantage of AI: new hub available for members

The Advantage Travel Partnership's new hub has been designed to help members adopt and imbed AI through practical guidance, tools and support

As part of its wider AI enablement strategy, Advantage is setting out a long-term approach focused on helping members adapt to new technologies and build confidence in using AI tools which will soon become part of everyday life.

The Hub follows direct feedback from members seeking clearer guidance on how to maximise AI within their businesses, as the technology continues to reshape the travel landscape, from customer behaviour to day-to-day operations. Members will be supported through every step of their AI journey.

The first step includes introductory guidance, practical promoting support, safe-use and best-practice guardrails, and use-case guides.

Within the industry, AI presents a significant opportunity to reduce time on repetitive tasks, improve productivity, support faster customer communication, and free up teams for higher-value service.

Paul Nunn, chief operating officer at the Advantage Travel Partnership, said, “AI is moving incredibly quickly, and we were very conscious that creating a single Advantage AI tool was not necessarily the best way to support members over the long term […] The AI Hub is about helping members understand how to embed AI safely and effectively into their own businesses, rather than asking them to adopt one fixed solution. It gives them a clear framework they can use with confidence, whatever stage they are at.”

Members want clear, easy-to-understand advice that is relevant to the realities of running an independent travel business. The AI Hub has been built with that in mind, giving members a practical starting point to create efficiencies, support their teams and make informed decisions about how AI can help their business grow.”
