Ahead of the Easter break and May Bank Holidays, EasyJet holidays have published a new Family Holiday Index
The Family Holiday Index recently released by easyJet holidays highlights the best destinations for families within a four-hour flight, to ensure the most successful holiday for all members of the family.
The rankings are based on beach access, family activities, logistics, cost, and airport ease. Palma de Mallorca in Spain takes the top spot, with a score of 87, is the best ranked family holiday destination with its golden beaches and abundance of family activities all within easy reach of the airport. Activities include aquariums and waterparks to boat trips across the coast of Mallorca.
The Algarve, Portugal, claimed second place, followed closely behind by Costa del Sol in Spain.
Of the top ten highest ranked family holiday destinations, five of which are in Spain, all have exceptional beach and water access with more than enough activities to keep the whole family entertained.
