Shine at Sea 2026 to invite record number of agents on board

Guests on the deck of P&O Cruises' Iona vessel.

120 places are available for a trio of ship visits and training events on board P&O Cruises vessels in 2026—an increase of 50% against last year's 'Shine at Sea' series

All three events will sail roundtrip from Southampton, and range between four and seven nights in length. On board, agents will experience the cruise line's shore excursions first-hand, get a taste for the on-board dining (including speciality restaurants) and engage face-to-face with P&O Cruises' sales team.

Agents must confirm Select Price fare bookings and 'spin' those bookings via the Shine Rewards platform before March 3rd, 2026 to enter for one of 120 places on board.

Ongoing Wave offers promise up to £400 in onboard spend (depending on cabin category and sailing length), a payday offer worth up to £400 off for past guests, and second guests sailing from £49 per person on bookings by March 3rd, 2026. Bookings before February 2nd, 2026 are eligible for a low deposit offer of £50 per person across all cabin grades.

Associate VP of sales & distribution, Ruth Venn, described 'Shine at Sea' as "one of our most valued trade initiatives, and for 2026 we’re making it bigger than ever. By opening up more places across three fantastic ships, we’re giving even more agents the opportunity to step on board, experience our product first-hand and build the knowledge that really makes a difference when selling to customers.

"Investing in our trade partners remains a priority, and Shine at Sea is a key part of that commitment."

2026's 'Shine at Sea' events will take place from September. The first, aboard Aurora, sails to Belgium and Germany on a five-night itinerary on September 9th, before Iona's seven-night Europe cruise departs on October 31st. Ventura will sail the final 'Shine at Sea' event on a four-night voyage to Belgium and France on November 29th, 2026.

80 agents were invited on board two sailings in 2025.
