Expedition Micro Cruise specialist Secret Atlas are introducing the 36-guest Explorer Yacht Aureum, offering an unprecedented level of intimate, small-group exploration in Antarctica and South Georgia
Operating in partnership with Antarpply Expeditions for the 2027/28 and 2028/29 seasons, the newly upgraded Aureum will host the inaugural Antarctica By Air and South Georgia In Depth micro-cruise programs. Itineraries feature the signature South Georgia In Depth, priced from £15,995 per person, and the South Georgia & Antarctica – Shackleton Special, with prices leading in from £17,995 per person. Additionally, the innovative Antarctic By Air programs operate through Puerto Natales, Chile, significantly reducing Drake Passage transit times to maximize exploration, featuring the Antarctic Circle By Air, priced from £16,500 per person, and the Antarctic Peninsula By Air & Sea departing Ushuaia, with prices leading in from £13,500 per person.
“The introduction of Aureum represents a significant milestone for Secret Atlas and our Expedition Micro Cruise concept,” said Michele D’Agostino, Co-Founder of Secret Atlas. “As demand grows for meaningful, small-group polar expeditions, Aureum enables us to bring our distinctive explorer-led approach to Antarctica and South Georgia on a vessel purpose-designed for just 36 guests, providing access to deeper wildlife encounters and experiences that larger ships simply cannot replicate.”
Bookings for the 2027/28 and 2028/29 Antarctic and South Georgia seasons aboard Aureum are now open, underscoring Secret Atlas’s steadfast commitment to delivering authentic, responsible, and exceptional polar adventures to global travelers.
