Princess Cruises unveils more standout features for Sky Princess

Princess Cruises has unveiled new details and features onboard its 3,600-guest ship Sky Princess, set to arrive in 2019.

One of the most exciting concepts are the ?Sky Suites?, centrally located on the top decks of the ship and which will feature the largest private balconies ever offered by the line.

The two suites will provide an uninterrupted 270-degree view and accommodate up to five guests. Measuring 700sq.ft, the balconies will also offer a private vantage point of the ship?s ?Movie Under the Stars? screen and will also prove a versatile space for hosting celebrations and catered events.

Jan Swartz, president of the cruise line, said: ?Our two new Sky Suites reflect Princess Cruises? continued commitment to offer new and expansive accommodations that meet the needs of our guests who wish to explore the world in ultimate comfort.?

Launching in the Mediterranean in October next year, new for Sky Princess will be the addition of a Wakeview pool on its aft decks. In addition, the ship will feature a couple of new deep-tank top deck pools, a Retreat Pool, and even more Jacuzzis than the previous Royal-Class ships, including two cantilevered over the deep-tank pools.

The ship will also introduce more ways for guests to unwind, with its Sanctuary area offering a new contemporary design and twice as many private cabanas as its sister ships.

Guests will also be able to enjoy the new look of the ship?s Vista Lounge complete with a full bar and a new caf? in the Princess Live venue, serving barista made coffee, tea and quick bites.

A seven-night Mediterranean cruise, sailing from Barcelona on October 27, 2019 to Rome aboard the new vessel starts from ?1,409 per person with $100 onboard spending money per person.
