Spain has everything in place to welcome back holidaymakers to its sun-soaked islands in the New Year.

The global travel and tourism sector risks a long road ahead ?if we don?t pull together?, warned Gloria Guevara, CEO of the World Travel and Tourism Council.

Whether travellers are searching for a city break, active adventure or rural retreat, Poland has a destination for every traveller and an experience for every season, as promoted by the president of the Polish Tourism Organisation, Rafal Szlachta. 

While many countries have shut their borders and are enforcing quarantine restrictions, the Caribbean islands of Antigua and Barbuda have continued to remain open for business and are keen to keep on welcoming tourists from the UK later this year, or early next year.

Over the past four months, Destination Canada has added 12 fresh new videos to its Agents Training Hub, and the region also has a range of new hotels that will open this year and in 2021.

The tropical islands of the Bahamas have officially reopened their borders to international travellers with the message ?we can?t wait to get started?.

Travel agents can expect to see a surge in bookings this January due to a ?pent up demand for travel?.

The event, taking place from November 18-19, replaced the scheduled Ibiza gathering which has been postponed to October 2021.
