Agents increasing sales this year against 2025 peaks have done so by 172% on average; Not Just Travel co-founder Steve Witt believes the turn-of-year period showcases "the quality of our training and the passion of our travel entrepreneurs"
Steve continued, "Following our early predictions, January 2026 has started our biggest Peaks ever. The momentum started even before Christmas Day and has exceeded even our highest expectations."
The consortium also reported a sector-by-sector breakdown of sales performance, revealing impressive long-haul performance, largely driven by demand for the USA, Caribbean and the UAE. Cruise sales are currently growing 1.6 times as fast as land sales.
"What's particularly encouraging is the strength we're seeing across all sales types. Our dedicated Cruise training has seen consultants grow in confidence and capability, and that's reflected in the numbers. Meanwhile, long-haul and premium bookings are driving average booking values higher year-on-year, demonstrating that consumers are prioritising experiences and destinations that deliver lifelong memories."
Four times as many record-breaking days were recorded in January of this year than January 2025, with a monthly record for bookings worth £20,000 or more also being set.
