The eight-day tour will take travellers through Madrid, Toledo and Salamanca, showcasing the region’s rich cultural landscape
Highlights of the itinerary include guided tours of the ancient cities, visits to the lesser-known towns of Segovia and Avila, and entry to the El Escorial Monastery, home to the former medieval kings of Spain.
Newmarket’s new Spanish tour also includes a stop in the city of Alcalá de Henares where guests will stay overnight in a 17th century parador.
Hayley Morris, head of trade sales and partnerships said that this tour was the “obvious next step to develop an exciting itinerary that takes us to central Spain for the first time” following the success of the operator’s existing Spain and Portugal tours.
The eight-day ‘Madrid, Toledo & Salamanca’ tour leads in from £1,530 per person with three departures available from September to October 2025, from Edinburgh, London Gatwick, London Stansted and Manchester airports.
