Newmarket sees triple-digit growth in trade bookings for Asia

Newmarket Holidays has reported a 170% year-on-year growth in trade bookings for Asia, as its 2029 tours go on sale

The figure covers tours across Central Asia, East Asia, and Southeast Asia, and was helped by the 2029 programme going on sale, as well as the operator’s September Asia campaign.

This increase reflects a high demand for booking well in advance, giving agents the opportunity to lock in customers’ preferred chances early.

The trend also follows the recent India Mega FAM, which took more than 40 agents to experience four itineraries across the country first-hand.

Agents see the strength of forward demand as a clear reason to sell Asia now, as they plan their 2027-2029 sales.

Hayley Morris, head of trade sales and partnerships at Newmarket Holidays, said, “Asia has been one of our standout regions this year, and September showed just how much appetite there is.

“With 2029 now on sale, customers are booking further ahead than ever, and agents who joined us in India have seen first-hand why these tours sell.

“We’ll keep backing our trade partners with the training, support, and product they need to make the most of this demand.”

With the 2029 programme now available to book, agents can offer customers the chance to secure their preferred departures well in advance across some of Newmarket’s most popular Asia tours.
