Newmarket Holidays’ first ever mega FAM trip to India, agent bookings for the destination are up by 45% year-on-year

 Newmarket's first-ever mega FAM trip took place in India from May 3rd to May 12th, in which the tour operator took 45 participating agents to experience a taste of what Newmarket Holidays can offer their clients. 

 Upon the agents return, Newmarket saw commercial success as India bookings skyrocketed up 45% year-on-year. 

Agents experienced four simultaneous itineraries in India that covered regions such as Delhi, Agra, Ranthambone, Jaipur, Vanaashrya, Pragpur, Shimla, Mumbai, Kanha, Pench,  and Jodhpur.

Newmarket Holidays currently has 22 India tours on sale, spanning the length of the country from the Himalayan foothills in the north to the wildlife reserves of central and southern India.

The success of the mega FAM trip demonstrates how effective first-hand product experience is for sales agents and confirms the halo effect of large-scale FAM investment. It is clear that agents who weren't on the trip were positively influenced too, through live social activity during the tours, on-the-ground itinerary updates, and direct conversations with colleagues on their return.
