New initiatives prove that Travelsphere Cares

The operator has expanded its charitable 'Travelsphere Cares' initiative with two new projects in South Africa and Turkey, the result of its partnership with Planeterra

Charlotte Field, Travelsphere's marketing director, described the Cares initiative as "fundamental to everything we do... we're helping to make travel a force for good, creating lasting benefits for all."

Both new projects feature on select tours to their respective destinations: guests on either the 17-day or 22-day Ultimate South Africa tours this year will call at The Good Work Foundation, which provides training for youth in the local area in the tech, conservation, tourism and hospitality fields. Those on Travelsphere's 12-day Treasures of Turkey tour next year will visit Cöp(m)adam, a project which blends social and environmental sustainability by addressing women's unemployment and recycling.

Charlotte concluded, "These new projects demonstrate our commitment to supporting local enterprises and the communities we visit."
