Along with the full rollout of its agency service charge feature, Expedia TAAP has expanded its deferred payment options—with VP Robin Lawther declaring that "the role of the travel adviser has never been more essential"

'Book Now, Pay Later' has been enhanced, extending the option to defer trips up to 365 days in advance. Previously, payment could only be deferred on departures in 280 days or fewer.

The Hard Charge functionality, designed to specifically cater for agents and clients utilising the 'Book Now, Pay Later' feature, now integrated post-booking change functions, allowing agents to adjust travel dates, room type and other booking conditions within TAAP itself, rather than cancelling and rebooking.

Unveiling the changes, VP Robin Lawther said, "We’re seeing strong momentum behind our latest tools, which speaks volumes about the real-world impact they’re having on advisors’ businesses.

"Looking ahead, we’re continuing to invest in the platform—with new functionalities and enhancements on the horizon that will make it even easier for advisers to grow and thrive."
