National Geographic-Lindblad unveils first Iceland brochure for UK market

Hellnar, a small fishing village on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in West Iceland

To celebrate the launch, the cruise operator is offering an exclusive, limited-time 35% discount for UK customers on all their 2025 and 2026 departures of ‘Fire & Ice: An Eight-Day Sail Around Iceland’

The 24-page brochure collates three Icelandic expeditions—the eight-day ‘Fire & Ice’ sailing, a 10-day ‘Circumnavigation of Iceland’, and a six-day journey: ‘Exploring Iceland: Fjords, Waterfalls & Wildlife’. For those looking to extend their adventure, there’s also an option to add a five or seven-day land programme to witness the total solar eclipse in 2026, or a relaxing two-day pre-cruise experience exploring Reykjavik’s Golden Circle and the Blue Lagoon.

The brochure offers a behind-the-scenes look at life aboard a National Geographic-Lindblad expedition ship, a typical day, and how guests of all ages can engage with Iceland’s beautiful landscape.

For families, the National Geographic Global Explorers Programme brings added excitement with fun, educational experiences tailored to kids and teens. Young travellers aged 22 and under can also benefit from a generous 50% discount on select sailings.

Prices for the 2025/2026 Iceland fly/cruise programme start from £4,871 per person, with the first Fire & Ice itinerary scheduled to depart on July 1st, 2025.
