Tourism Malaysia has unveiled a new collection of promotional videos as part of its flagship Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign
The initiative seeks to position Malaysia as a premier global destination, recognised for its cultural richness, natural beauty, and warm hospitality.
The extensive video library forms part of Tourism Malaysia’s broader digital and creative strategy. It is designed to engage travel agents, airlines, and industry stakeholders across key international markets. Through compelling storytelling and strong visual narratives, the campaign invites global audiences to rediscover Malaysia’s diverse offerings. These videos will serve as a central component of the country’s international tourism promotion in the lead-up to the VM2026 celebration.
VM2026 is built around five strategic pillars: sustainable tourism, cultural and heritage experiences, adventure and nature-based travel, digital innovation, and improved global connectivity.
A centrepiece of the campaign is the video series titled 'Echoes of Harmony', which is described as an immersive, emotionally charged visual campaign that connects viewers to Malaysia through its most universal language: rhythm.
The series opens at dawn with 'the resonant call of the beduk' and follows the rhythm through landscapes, festivals, and cultural expressions across the country. It aims “to invite the world to not just see Malaysia, but to feel its rhythm, its soul, and its heartbeat.”
By integrating storytelling, emotional connection, and strategic focus, the VM2026 video campaign sets the stage for Malaysia to reassert its place as a destination of choice for global travellers. It demonstrates a commitment to both industry innovation and meaningful tourism development.
