Leger Holidays has announced its brand new battlefield-oriented brochure
‘Battlefield Tours – Walk in the Footsteps of Heroes’ is the escorted tours company’s latest brochure for 2026 and 2027. The collect includes ten new WW1 and WW2 tours, with 55 fully escorted battlefield experiences. Prices start from £429 per person for a four-day tour.
Amongst the new tours is a five-day Menin Gate Centenary tour priced from £519 per person. This tour commemorates the 100-year anniversary of the iconic memorial in Ypres, Belgium. On the itinerary are visits to notorious battlefield sites in Flanders and participation in local events.
Two new ‘Mini-Cruise & Tour’ itineraries have also been added to the brochure. ‘Siegfried Line & Battle of the Bulge Mini-Cruise’ and ‘WW2 Arnhem & Rhineland Mini-Cruise & Tour’ have been added to the collection. These tours combine overnight sailings from Newcastle to IJmuiden, North Holland, with escorted coach travel. The packages include a cabin, buffet dinner and breakfast, plus access to on-board facilities such as bars and live entertainment.
Another new tour is the ‘WW2 Battlefields of the Ardennes’, which is a five-day escorted tour from £699 per person, where guests will explore the fighting in the Belgian Ardennes, such as the German Blitzkrieg and the Battle of the Bulge.
