Kosmar, which incorporates a travel agency, in-house operator and homeworking business, has launched a financial and wellbeing package initiative to support colleagues during the COVID-19 crisis.
The initiative includes the offer of an interest-free loan up to the value of ?750 to help colleagues through any financial difficulties, with flexible payment plans that don't start until August. Several weeks ago, team members received a bonus of ?350 to help with the immediate financial impact of the pandemic.
Additionally, the Sheffield-based company invested in a benefits and wellness programme. Operated by a third party, the scheme offers Kosmar colleagues exclusive discounts with thousands of companies, as well as a wellbeing programme aimed at improving health and fitness.
Managing director, Jhy Worsnop-Hesford said: "Our fantastic colleagues stood by us in our time of need and continue to do so. We stand ready to support them through the difficulties they may face in these uncertain times. Their hard work and dedication has helped stabilise our business and prepare of us for the further challenges we expect over the next year or so. Through their efforts and our solid liquidity position, we will emerge from this stronger."
