KLM has announced it will be flying to 164 destinations across the world this winter
The Dutch airline is operating more flights to popular destinations, increasing capacity, as well as relaunching past routes.
Between October 25th and March 27th, KLM will fly to 164 destinations in 64 countries, 93 of which are within Europe, and 71 are intercontinental.
This season will see the return of Minneapolis to the winter schedule for the first time since 2023, as well as the introduction of San Diego throughout the winter season.
The airline will also operate a more frequent service to Panama City, with up to ten flights a week during the peak period. São Paulo will also see nine operations a week.
Marjan Rintel, President and CEO of KLM, said, “Our passengers want to reach their destinations smoothly and feel recognised and at ease throughout their journey.
“That is why we are offering a wider choice of flights this winter, focusing on personal service and continuing to invest in comfort and the renewal of our fleet.”
Within Europe, KLM is adding capacity to popular winter and city-break destinations, with both Rovaniemi and Kittilä receiving one additional weekly flight, and Florence and Basel having one additional daily flight.
Flights to Dubai, Riyadh, and Dammam are also set to return, with exact timetables yet to be confirmed depending on the situation in the Middle East.
Alongside expanding its network, KLM is enhancing its travel experience by providing a wider choice of food and drink to cater to more of passengers’ needs, and increasing the capacity of Premium Comfort.
This winter will also see the introduction of the Dutch airline’s first Airbus A350, a cleaner, quieter, and more fuel-efficient plane than many aircraft.
