A new astronomy and astrophotography tour to Tenerife will join the collection next year, guided by the BBC’s ‘Sky at Night’ astronomer Pete Lawrence
The seven-day trip will combine the dramatic volcanic landscapes the island is renowned for with magical night-sky experiences.
Guests will spend two nights in the heart of Teide National Park, known as one of Europe’s premier stargazing locations, and enjoy dedicated photography and solar viewing sessions at the Izana Observatory.
A further four nights will be spent relaxing by the coast in Playa de las Americas to round out the trip.
Zoe Tasker, group product director, said, “We continue to see strong demand for our astronomy-themed tours, such as searching for the Northern Lights or watching the Eclipse. This tour is ideal for agents to recommend to astronomy lovers, or simply those who love learning more about the universe we live in.”
The tour leads in from £2,379 per person, including return flights from London Gatwick on January 27th, 2027. Regional departures are available from Manchester, Birmingham, and Leeds Bradford for a supplement.
