Two tours have launched to Jules Verne's latest destination, which managing director Debbie O'Neill described as "a relatively undiscovered destination, [with] rich culture, fascinating history and breathtaking landscapes"

Algeria joins the 85+-strong Jules Verne destination portfolio from this month; Debbie continued, "We are thrilled to announce that, as of January 2026, Jules Verne customers will be able to book an adventure to the enchanting country of Algeria.

"Still a relatively undiscovered destination, Algeria’s rich culture, fascinating history and breathtaking landscapes make it a standout choice for customers seeking a culturally immersive, unique and memorable travel experience away from the crowds."

Two tours have launched as part of the inaugural Algeria programme; five departures of the eight-night 'Highlights of Algeria' will take place between May and November 2026. The tour include daily breakfasts and select lunches and dinners, excursions, and eight nights' accommodation from £1,895 per person.

Another five departures of the 12-night 'Grand Tour of Algeria: Ancient Cities to the Sahara Desert' itinerary will operate from May to October. Prices lead in from £2,895 per person with the same inclusions (with 12 nights' acommodation).

Debbie hopes the choice of tours "showcase[s] the very best of Africa’s largest country’s treasures."
