Intrepid Travel has unveiled 32 new trips across 15 European countries, offering a fresh perspective on Europe’s hidden gems
These new itineraries feature alpine hikes, cultural journeys, and locally-led experiences, aiming to reduce overtourism and focus on sustainable travel. The trips range from five to 22 days and cater to active adventurers, families, and premium travellers alike.
New destinations include the Faroe Islands with a five-day tour priced from £2,955, where visitors can explore coastal villages and enjoy a home-cooked Faroese lunch. For an active challenge, the eight-day 'Hike the Albanian Alps' itinerary, priced from £1,285, takes travellers through dramatic landscapes and scenic valleys, ending with a boat ride across Komani Lake.
Erica Kritikides, General Manager of Experiences, said, “Travellers are seeking out Europe’s hidden gems, chasing richer cultural connections and cooler conditions."
As travellers increasingly favour shoulder seasons and alternative destinations, Intrepid responds with expanded departure dates and new locations like Madeira, the Canary Islands, and Northern Europe.
With this expansion, Intrepid now operates in 35 European countries.
