A brand-new luxury small group tour is coming to Japan later this year, featuring unique cultural experiences, high-end accommodation and off-the-radar destinations as travellers continue to demand authenticity in their travels
The 14-night ‘Luxury Japan’ tour will visit popular cities Tokyo and Kyoto as well as a range of under-visited regions that offer the same rich experiences away from the crowds.
Inside Travel’s small group tour manager, Richard Farmer, said the tour has been designed to cater to travellers who seek comfort while being culturally curious.
“This tour is about the luxury of experiencing unique cultural moments – from incredible regional destinations to character-rich accommodation and exclusive experiences.â€
Some of the tour highlights include a visit to the castle city of Inuyama, which houses one of Japan’s 12 original samurai castles, and the chance to fuel up at one of the country’s best foodie scenes in Fukuoka.
Superior grade accommodation, all transport, a selection of meals and exclusive cultural experiences are included. Four departures are available in autumn 2026, with a full programme ready to launch in 2027.
