Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Portuguese developer Coporgest have announced the 2029 debut of Park Hyatt Comporta, a luxury resort and residential development that will expand the brand's European footprint into Portugal's coveted Alentejo coast
The new property will open in 2029 just an hour from Lisbon. The resort will feature 58 guestrooms, six private villas, and 22 fully serviced residences. Guests and owners will enjoy access to premium amenities, including a wellness centre, a kids' club, and multiple dining venues. The hotel will also sit adjacent to the scenic 18-hole Troia Golf Course.

This milestone agreement reinforces Hyatt’s broader commitment to expanding its global footprint across premier leisure destinations, complementing upcoming brand additions in Phu Quoc, the Riviera Maya, Mexico City, Vancouver, and Taormina.
