The world’s oldest expedition company is coming to the silver screen later this month where it will play a starring role a new ITV documentary hosted by Julia Bradbury

Airing on February 15th, February 22nd and March 1st, 2026, the three-part documentary — Julia Bradbury’s Wonders of the Frozen South — follows the host as she embarks on a 23-day expedition through the Southern Ocean towards Antarctica aboard MS Fram.

Each episode will focus on a distinct destination during the voyage, with the first episode set in the Falklands Islands.

CEO of HX Expeditions Gebhard Rainer he hopes the series “inspires viewers who watch Julia’s incredible journey to approach the world with curiosity and care.”

The series is airing during HX’s landmark year as the expedition line celebrates 130 years of exploring the most remote corners of the Earth. To mark the launch of the documentary, HX Expeditions is offering agents the chance to double their entries into the draw to win a place on an exclusive MegaFAM.

Double entry applies to bookings made during the series airtime (from February 15th to March 1st). Agents who make a booking during this period will receive double entry to win a two-night expedition experience sailing from Hamburg to Heligoland. Bookings must be registered here.
