As Newcastle United confirmed their place at the Carabao Cup Final, National Holidays has put coach and hotel packages on sale for agents in the Northeast
It took mere minutes for the coach tour operator to put packages on sale after Newcastle beat Arsenal 1-0 to secure their place.
Packages depart on March 15th, 2025, and lead in from £139 per person. The price includes return coach travel from a choice of pickup points in the Northeast, plus a night's bed-and-breakfast accommodation and transfers to and from Wembley Stadium.
Match tickets are not included.
Claire Dutton, National Holidays' trade sales manager, revealed the operator was "being contacted by agents in the northeast, asking if we had any plans to provide a coach and hotel packages should Newcastle United get through. We wanted to be proactive and worked quickly to put a break together so agents could start taking bookings immediately if the result went Newcastle’s way.
"We know from past experience, when Sunderland got through to the League One play-off final back in 2022, that clubs have a huge fan base who want an easy, great value way to get down to London and our hotel and coach packages take all the hassle out away. We have secured good availability, with a great selection of local pick-up points so agents in the catchment area need to shout about this on their channels right now."
